Behind The Uragon Experience

Uragon (or oragon) is a Bicolano word that can mean a lot depending on the viewpoint one is into, which can be translated both from the negative and the positive sides of the equation. As the cliché goes, there are two sides to every story - but there are one hundred and one ways to tell a story in the most exquisite manner. The standpoint from which the stories found in this blog are told came from a life not so perfectly lived yet constantly explored.

This blog is dedicated to the people who have been part (in one way or the other) of my journey in this beautiful world translated in words and literature. Uragon is not just a word; it is a way of life and a challenge that fuels the Bicolano in all of us to never say never and show the best that we can be in spite of all the adversities. Life is beautiful in all its hardships and joys. Let our respective communal uragon experiences inspire us all to live life in a more meaningful, passionate and creative manner.

Living the uragon experience involves taking enormous risk and getting used to the pains of rejection and lies. There’s no room for “what ifs” and fears. Nothing can be more complicated than denying the fact that complications are CONSTANT. In our quest of finding a perfect way to live our lives come the absolute truth of having the need for certain degree of tolerance in breaking the rules and seizing the moment.
