My heart goes for the hostages and their families. They are supposed to be on their flight back to Hong Kong tonight when a lunatic Filipino cop took over their tourist bus and made them his human shield. I’m ashamed that a Filipino cop grabbed international attention today not by his good deeds but by his lunatic principle and BAD ENGLISH! Worst, whatever happened to your motto – “to serve and protect”?
Former Police Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza, a dismissed policeman armed with automatic rifle, seized a tourist bus in Manila Monday with 25 people aboard, mostly foreign tourists in a bid to demand reinstatement. Irony of all ironies, he chose to commander the bus at the Quirino Grandstand where President Noynoy Aquino took his oath of office and shouted his policy “Walang wang-wang, walang counterflow” referring to the abusive ways of people in authority, policemen as part of them!
Since when is a demand for reinstatement has been resolved by a hostage taking drama? What school did you take you BS Criminology and who is your history teacher Former Police Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza? Most importantly, did you pass your Communication Arts 101? How did you get promoted and became a Senior Inspector? Do you know what an Officer and a Gentlemen means? You can never defend yourself now until eternity, but one thing is for sure to all of us who have witnessed your stupidity, in our very eyes, you have showed us who you really are in just 12 hours, you are a disgrace to Filipinos and Filipino Policemen!
